Men who experience barriers to orgasm can still achieve an erection and ejaculation. So it is not erotic sensations can be felt.

Cause 

Barriers to orgasm can be caused by physical causes, namely CNS diseases such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, Huntington's chorea, and lumbar sympathectomy. Also due to the use of drugs including SSRIs, tricyclic antidepressants, monoamine oxidase inhibitors. 

As for the barriers to orgasm psychological causes are anxiety, fear knocked up, and the tedium of their partners. 

Treatment 

To overcome barriers to orgasm because of illness, a disease that causes must be addressed first. If there are certain drugs which cause, the medication should also be stopped. While the barriers to orgasm due to psychological causes, behavioral therapy is needed.
