SeributawaNews - A large number of American soldiers were reported killed and wounded in eastern Afghanistan after a powerful explosion hit a U.S. military base in the war-torn country.
The incident happened on Thursday morning (18 / 8) when a truck bomb exploded at U.S. military bases in the city of Gardez, capital of Paktia province in Afghanistan, a Press TV correspondent reported.
The Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attack, claiming hundreds of kilograms of explosives hidden inside the truck.
