Egypt: Condemning the Jewish settlement expansion in East Jerusalem

SeributawaNews - Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Mohamed Kamel condemn Israel's decision to accelerate the construction of 5000 housing units of the Jewish settlements of the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
This decision is a slap in the face of those who still seek the peace process aimed at achieving a just settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Amr said in a statement.
"This decision is a provocation to the Palestinian-Israeli Zionists," added Amr. Regime, Zionist Israel has ignored international public opinion, which unanimously rejected the illegal settlements as an obstacle to peace.
Apart from accelerating the construction of settlements, the Israeli cabinet decided to temporarily freeze the transfer of funds to the Palestinian Authority. This decision was taken on Wednesday which is a retaliation for the success of the Palestine 'in winning membership in UNESCO.
Palestinian membership in UNESCO will allow Palestinians, who had observer status in UN organizations, can become a full member. (eramuslim)
